The Parsons Research Center is home to a number of projects, many of which are funded by the Mental Retardation Branch of the National Institution of Child Health and Human Development. These include studies of: reading; the effects of reinforcement variables on self injurious and destructive behaviors; the effects of drugs on aberrant behaviors, adaptive behaviors, and cognitive skills; relational and symbolic learning; stimulus control and stimulus classes.
